Chantelle Campbell
Chantelle A. Campbell is an socio-legal professor, notary, and founder of RentLaw, recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Black Women to Watch in 2023. With advanced degrees in the arts and certification in adult education, her multifaceted career spans paralegal practice, public speaking, and legal education. With a strong commitment to social justice and fairness, she takes pride in providing accessible and effective legal representation to a diverse range of clients and serves as an interim president at the OABP.

Brenell Dean
Brenell Dean, an award-winning paralegal and partner at Sway Law PC, has been serving Windsor and surrounding areas since 2018, with a focus on Small Claims Court, Criminal Defense, and Landlord Representation. Her background in real estate investing and property management enhances her proficiency in representing clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board. Additionally, her extensive community service, including board memberships and roles with various organizations, underscores her deep commitment to her community and the legal profession.

Alicia Clarke
Alicia Clarke is a licensed Paralegal for the firm Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross & Angelini, LLP and has worked in Criminal Defence for over a decade. As a Board Member for the Ontario Association of Black Paralegals (OABP) Education Committee and Committee Member of the OABP Law Clerk Program, Alicia is looking forward to engaging with other Black paralegals and legal professionals who want to further build representation in the legal community and learn how to combat systemic discrimination in the justice system.

Benaiah Eche
Benaiah Eche is a Licensed Paralegal currently working as a litigation assistant with a reputable law firm in Toronto. He obtained his paralegal license in May 2023, and prior to that, he graduated from the paralegal program at Centennial College in December 2022 with an Honors designation. Benaiah is very passionate about the work OABP does, and he is very active in his community. He is a board member with the OABP and also a member of the Membership Engagement Committee

Sehmani Kingsun-Leo
Sehmani KingSun-Leo is a licensed paralegal with over 16 years of experience in the legal field. As a college professor, Sehmani is passionate about supporting legal administration and educating law clerks and fellow paralegals on best practices. Sehmani has an extensive court clerk background and is currently making her way through law school. Sehmani is no stranger to resilience and perseverance and is committed to creating and fostering healthy spaces for legal professionals through the OABP.

Shenell Monteith
Shennell Monteith is a self-proclaimed ambivert. Her career has been a mixture of legal advocacy and sales. Both involve being bold in the face of fear and believing what you stand for. She is excited to be a part of OABP and is ready to engage in the work that supports legal practitioners who often feel like “others”. Shennell often has the travel bug and is always planning her next excursion.

Royland Moriah
​Royland Moriah is a partner at Rusonik O’Connor Robbins Ross & Angelini LLP where he represents clients charged with criminal offences. He started his legal career as a policy lawyer at the African Canadian Legal Clinic before transitioning to criminal law, which he has practiced almost exclusively for the past seventeen years. In addition to his work with the OABP, he is a guest lecturer for the University of Toronto Faculty of Law trial advocacy course, an active member of the Criminal Lawyer’s Association, a member of the Salvation Army Community Advisory Committee, and is on the Toronto Area Committee of the Ontario Justice Education Network.

Deborah Moriah
Deborah Moriah is a Licensed Paralegal, Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Professional and Technical Writer. Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) in 2016, her focus is human rights and consumer protection. She is Co-Founder of the Ontario Association of Black Paralegals, an elected LSO Bencher and a Board member at Legal Aid Ontario (LAO). Deborah is also an in-house paralegal at Parents of Black Children.

April Bollers
April Bollers is a Paralegal who has been licensed with the Law Society of Ontario since 2013. She is a co-founder of the Ontario Association of Black Paralegals and currently serves as an Advisory Board Member with the Association. Professionally, she works for a U.S. law firm in the area of Capital Markets and Corporate Compliance.​
